A little bit about me:
My name is Juliana Marquez, I was born and raised in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico and this is my second year attending the University of Tampa. Ever since I was little I had a high drive and passion for sports. I played volleyball for a great portion of my life as well as soccer. Now I just play recreationally to get my mind off things. I consider myself to be quite energetic at times and I can definitely make people laugh, which I love. I consider my humor to be a strength, and certain insecurities to be a weakness.
Expectations for Digital Media:
As an advertising major I am hopeful that this course will ignite passions and talents that I didn't know I had. I think I am a creative person, but this course will definitely improve and polish many skills. I was quite intimidated because I feel like this class is completely out of my comfort zone. I am actually a little worried that my work wont be as impressive as I would like it to be. This is the first semester that I am taking in which all of my courses directly contribute to my major. I want to end this semester being sure that this is the path I want to continue for my career. My knowledge in the technological field is quite basic, I have never created anything online, edited, photoshopped, animated EVER in my life. So I definitely have mixed feelings. I am hopeful I will get past any mental boundaries and provide compelling work.
